Night Trap is a 1992 interactive movie game initially released for the SEGA CD, developed by Digital Pictures and published by SEGA. The plot follows a group of teenage girls attending a sleepover at the Martin estate. One of the girls, Kelli, is an undercover agent that is investigating the disappearance of several teenage girls that were here before them. The player, another agent, has to protect Kelli and investigate the Martin estate with the use of their hacked security system, which features traps. This game was notorious for its gratuitously violent and sexually suggestive cutscenes, and played a role in the creation of the ESRB, the other game being the original Mortal Kombat.

On August 15, 2017 the game was remade and released for the PlayStation 4 and Windows, to commemorate the game's 25th anniversary. This article will use screenshots from the remake because of the clear footage of the cutscenes.
