The shotgun was given to him by co-star Simon Pegg to assist him in the town shoot out. He also uses a Smith & Wesson 5906 as his primary sidearm, sometimes dual-weilding it with a revolver. At one point he uses an air rifle, accidently shooting someone in the foot, foreshadowing a later scene.
