Next Time I'll Aim for the Heart (original title La prochaine fois je viserai le coeur) is a 2014 French thriller directed by Cédric Anger. It is based on real story of Alain Lamare, a French serial killer of late 1970s.

A revolver is found during the search in Frank's apartments. It is called an Astra, and if this is correct then it appears to be an Astra 357 with 4" barrel.

MAT-49
During the combing of the marshes some gendarmes carry MAT-49 SMGs. Franck Neuhart (Guillaume Canet) is briefly seen with a MAT-49 prior to his arrest.

Winchester Model 1866
Franck Neuhart (Guillaume Canet) carries a Winchester Model 1866 "Yellow Boy" (most likely a modern replica) during his activities in the forest.
