The series is a prequel to the upcoming feature film The Marvels, Ms. Marvel is the seventh television series of Phase Four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and is produced by Marvel Studios. The first season was originally scheduled to premiere on the streaming service Disney+ in late 2021, but was delayed to June 8, 2022 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
