Miracle at St. Anna

Miracle at St. Anna is a 2008 movie by well-known director Spike Lee. In 1944, four black US soldiers from the segregated 92nd Infantry Division are cut off from their company during a failed attack on a German position in the Italian Campaign. The soldiers take refuge in a small Tuscan village, bringing along with them a traumatized young boy who, unknown to them, is the sole survivor of the Sant'Anna di Stazzema massacre, where hundreds of Italian civilians were killed by Waffen-SS panzergrenadiers as retribution for partisan attacks.

A Luger P08 is used by the elderly Hector Negron to shoot a customer in a New York post office. It is seen throughout the film used by German soldiers and Italian partisans.

M1928A1 Thompson
The M1928A1 Thompson is used by Staff Sergeant Audrey Stamps (Derek Luke), Sergeant Bishop Cummings (Michael Ealy) and Corporal Hector Negron (Laz Alonso), fitted with 30-round drum magazines.
M1A1 Thompson
At least one 92nd Division soldier uses an M1A1 Thompson.

Local Partisan leader Peppi "The Great Butterfly" Grotta (Pierfrancesco Favino) carries a Sten Mk II.

An unknown sawed-off Short barreled Side by Side Shotgun is used by a Partisan in battle.
Winchester Model 1912 Riot Gun
One of the Redneck's at Herbs Ice Cream Parlor is armed with a Winchester Model 1912 Riot Gun.
Rifles
M1 Garand
The M1 Garand is the main weapon of the 92nd Infantry Division in the movie, although Private First Class Samuel Train (Omar Benson Miller) is the only of the four main characters to use it.
M1 Carbine
The two Military Policemen in Herbs Ice Cream Parlor carry the M1 Carbine. Note that they are the anachronistic post-war models, fitted with a bayonet lug and 30-round magazines.
Karabiner 98k
The main weapon of the German soldiers in the film is the Karabiner 98k. Note that several of these rifles have straight bolt handles.
Machine Guns
Browning Mk II
A Browning Mk II is used by the 92nd Division in the opening battle. The choice of weapon is unusual; the Mk II was made exclusively for use by the Royal Air Force, and was chambered in .303 British, not a readily available caliber for the US Army. The Browning M1919A4 would be more accurate.
Browning M2HB
A Browning M2HB can be briefly glimpsed mounted on a US Army tank at an artillery firebase.
Vickers Mk1
The Vickers Mk1 is mounted on a US Army jeep, manned by Private First Class Samuel Train. Once again, the Browning M1919A4 would be more accurate.
MG42
The MG42 is used by German soldiers in combat and at the Sant'Anna di Stazzema massacre.

The Granatwerfer 34 is used by German troops during the river battle.
