The following guns were used in the above movie by the following actors

M1928 Thompson SMG

Johnny Caspar's (Jon Polito) goons use Thompson SMGs when they attempt to assassinate Leo (Albert Finney). Leo seizes one and escapes, fighting off Caspar's thugs. This weapon appears throughout the film utilized by police officers and both Caspar and Leo's thugs.

Colt New Service

This revolver appears throughout the film, in the hands of both the criminals and the police. Leo (Albert Finney) uses one during the attempted assassination. Leo's thugs drop them when killed by Eddie Dane (J.E. Freeman) and Tom (Gabriel Byrne) grabs for one off his nightstand before chasing after Bernie (John Turturro) later in the film.

Verna (Marcia Gay Harden) accosts Tom Reagan (Gabriel Byrne) during a rainy night with one near the end of the film, but can't bring herself to use it.
