The '''MGL Mk 1L''' has a longer, 140mm cylinder to fit special-purpose grenades such as various tear gas grenades or less-than lethal impact rounds. It is also known as '''MGL-140'''. The USMC designation of this variant is '''M32 MGL''' or '''M32 MSGL'''. (Note: The M32 designation should only be used if US Marines are handling the weapon in a media.)
