Nice, but where's the trigger?

The following weapons appear in the video game Medal of Honor:

Medal of Honor (2010)

It is said that the video game developers are working closely with the real Tier 1 operators, which is what the game is based on. Hopefully the game will be very realistic.....

M4A1 Carbine

The M4A1 carbine looks like it will be the main weapon for the Tier 1 Operators in the game. They appear to be fitted with suppressors, RIS foregrips, and EOTech red dot sights.

According to the last screen the M4 with EoTech lacks the front sights and entire gas block. It's the same mistake, that Infinity Ward developers made in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warefare where all M4's and M16's with mounted optics also lacked the front sights. This lack of the gas block would prevent the weapon from cycling after being shot and would made the weapon "bolt-action" (the operator would have to pull the charging handle after each shot) though completely useless for any serious use as an assault rifle. I don't understand why developers made it that way - it is possible to aim through the EoTech sight even with a standard M16 triangular front sights mounted without any serious limitations to your filed of view. Or when they are making an "extra-cool-hardcore-special-forces-looking" model of the gun with mounted suppresor, AN/PEQ, vertical front grip, surefire flashlight and all the stuff why not to spent some additional polygons to flip-up front sights or to the such crucial thing for the weapon such as the gas block mechanism.

It's good you're giving "someone" me the credit for the CoD4 gas block thing but people coming here don't really need to know that some guy on the CoD 4 page pointed out this. What I'm saying is just cut down this paragraph so it is info only rather than referring to the CoD page and what not. Remove this post when cutting down the above please.ShaDow XPS

ShaDow XPS: Ok, I've edited my first post and leaved out the information about the CoD page.

AK Variant

This assault rifle will be seen, as in most modern war video games, in the hands of the enemy of the Tier 1 Operators. It is very briefly seen twice in the world premiere trailer.

FN Minimi/M249 SAW ???

Possibly an FN Minimi or variant with an Eotech sight?

Maybe a Minimi or SAW?
