==Smith & Wesson Model 586==
 +
The [[Smith & Wesson Model 586]] in .38 Special also returns from the first game as the "Revolver Six Shooter". It was cut from the "Best Friends" level and appears in the "Safehouse" level. It is (somehow) the quietest firearm in the game.
 +
The 586 was added in last minute; the switch is obvious (even without looking at early leaked builds pre-switch) as the revolver floats in Danny's hands in "Safehouse" (as the animation was for the Desert Eagle which was larger). On the PS2/PSP, it uses a unique execution compared to the other handguns that is more sadistic and fits Leo's personality (the player character of "Best Friends") rather than Danny. A pre-rendered cutscene used later in the game even shows Leo with the revolver in "Best Friends".
 +
Notably the cylinder no longer swings out when reloading.

The [[Colt Model 733]] appears as the "Assault Rifle". The only modification is the carry handle texture being chopped in such a way as to have the thumb nuts removed effectively turning the weapon into an M733. The stock appears to have the general shape of a 3rd gen collapsible but has ridges like the 4th gen collapsible. It is depicted with a 20-round magazine which inaccurately holds 30 rounds in gameplay. It appears in the "Broadcast Interrupted", "Altered State", "Personality Clash" and "Release Therapy" levels. It requires a bit of skill to use since by the time it is acquired most of the hunters are wearing bulletproof vests, requiring the player to go for headshot or waste ammo.

Manhunt 2 (2007)

Manhunt 2 is the sequel to Manhunt, a highly controversial game released in 2007 by Rockstar Games. While the melee weapon executions are very creative (and very gory) with three different versions per weapon, the firearm executions only have one version each (outside of leaked early versions and mods that restore them). The game follows Daniel Lamb, a mental patient suffering from amnesia as he tries to uncover his identity. He is accompanied by Leo Kasper, a sociopathic assassin who guides Daniel in his journey.

Most of the weapons return from the first game, but there are also several new guns.

Note: This game has a grainy, "Blair Witch Project" look to it. So the pictures will not be crystal clear.

The following weapons appear in the video game Manhunt 2:

Handguns

Desert Eagle Mark I

The Desert Eagle Mark I reappears in the sequel and appears in the "Most Wanted", "Altered State", and "Release Therapy" levels. The gun's description lists it being incorrectly chambered in .40, while the ammo pickups in-game are labeled ".50 caliber bullets". To add to the confusion, the capacity of the weapon is nine rounds, suggesting it is the .357 version. It appears with a nickel finish and wooden grips, replacing the black grips use don the first game's Desert Eagle. Is called "Desert Eagle" in the files. In all versions, the Desert Eagle and Glock share the same execution.

Glock 23

The Glock 23 returns from the first game and appears in the levels "Red light" (NPC only without hacking), "Best Friends", "Safe House", "Assassination", "Broadcast Interrupted", "Personality Clash' (PC version), and "Release Therapy" as the "Light Handgun". Is called "Glock" in the files.

Smith & Wesson Model 586

The Smith & Wesson Model 586 in .38 Special also returns from the first game as the "Revolver Six Shooter". It was cut from the "Best Friends" level and appears in the "Safehouse" level. It is (somehow) the quietest firearm in the game. Notably the cylinder no longer swings out when reloading.

Submachine Guns

"Submachine Gun"

The same mash-up of an Uzi and a MAC-10 from Manhunt reappears as the "Submachine Gun", and is used in the "Bees Honey Pot", "Assassination", "Most Wanted", "Broadcast Interrupted", "Altered State", and "Release Therapy" levels. It is the only SMG in the game, and the fastest firing weapon. On PS2/PSP, it has a unique execution, while it reuses the same one-handed firearm executions like the pistols on PC/Wii. Notably, one of the cut executions with the Submachine Gun can be performed on the player rarely in the level "Release Therapy" by the boss, which is the only instance of an enemy being able to execute the player in the series. Is called "Uzi" in the files.

Rifles

Colt Model 733

The Colt Model 733 appears as the "Assault Rifle". The gun is made from the same textures as the "Defender Mark 1" in the first game, though this time the original M933 texture is mostly unchanged. It has a unique execution on PS2/PSP while on PC/Wii, it reuses the same generic "two-handed firearm" execution like the rest of the non-handgun weapons. Is called "Colt Commando" in the files.

Enfield Enforcer

The Enfield Enforcer appears in the "Assassination" and "Broadcast Interrupted" (only on Wii) levels. It is impossible to fire the weapon without going into scoped view. Oddly, the ammo pickups appear to be M1 Garand en-bloc clips. It has a unique execution in all versions.

It is fitted with an unusable accessory rail and a Pachmayr Vindicator grip. There are two variants of this shotgun in-game: one with and without a flashlight. A (likely fictional) crossbow of unknown make and manufacture can only be used in the "Altered State" level. It is the only weapon that uses firearm executions that do not turn a hunter's head into a red cloud. Also, unlike the Enfield Enforcer, the player can strafe while in scope view. Like the Flare Gun, it has a dedicated unique execution on the PS2/PSP but shares a universal "long gun" execution with the rifles/shotguns on PC/Wii.
