This film is a classic western movie based of the Japanese film Seven Samurai. It has three actors who would star together again in the movie The Great Escape the actors, Steve McQueen, Charles Bronson, and James Coburn.

Single Action Army

Most of the characters in the film uses Single Action Armys. The Seven Men, Chris Adams (Yul Brynner), Vin (Steve McQueen), Bernardo O'Reilly (Charles Bronson), Lee (Robert Vaughn), Harry Luck (Brad Dexter), Britt (James Coburn) and Chico (Horst Buchholz) all use Quickdraw Single Action Armys as their handgun in the film. Calvera (Eli Wallach) also uses one in the film, most notably to shoot a Farmer charging him and during the two shootouts. The Farmers are also seen taught to use Single Action Armys. The man that challenges Britt to a duel shoots at Britts feet before being stabed by Britts switchblade. Britt also uses one to shoot a man off a horse from an impossible distance, Chico says: Thats the Greatest Shot i've ever seen to which Britt replys The Worst, I was aiming for the Horse. Calveras men are seen with Single Action Armys as well.

Double Barreled Shotgun

At the start of the film, Vinn (Steve McQueen) uses a "Scatter Gun" while ridding shotgun on the hearse. One of the men at the graveyard also is armed with a Scatter Gun.

Winchester Model 1873

Calvera's men use 1873 Winchester rifles in the movie. 2 are taken off the 3 that are killed mid-movie which the farmers use to train. Chris, Bernardo and Chico all use Winchester rifles during the final showdown.

Winchester Model 1866 "Yellow Boy" (Mocked-Up as Henry 1860)

When the farmers are being taught to shoot, one of them is armed with a Winchester "Yellow Boy" mocked up as a Henry 1860. You can identify it as a Yellow Boy and not a Henry as it as a side loader and no hand guard.
