Lupita Nyong'o is a Kenyan/Mexican actress who received the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role as Patsey in the 2013 film 12 Years a Slave. She also appeared (via motion capture) as Maz Kanata in the Star Wars Sequel trilogy in addition to her role as Nakia in the MCU film Black Panther.
