Lucifer is a television crime procedural fantasy that stars Tom Ellis as the title character, who decides to leave his kingdom in Hell in order to live a more exciting life assisting the police in Los Angeles by using his powers to expose criminals in the city.
The series premiered in the US on FOX in early 2016 and aired for three seasons until 2018. It was then picked up for a fourth season by the streaming service Netflix, which will conclude by the fifth season.
The series cast includes Lauren German, Kevin Alejandro and D.B. Woodside.
