The first season (also known as Love, Death & Robots Vol. 1) consists of 18 episodes ranging from 6 to 20 minutes. Each episode tells an independent story in different genres. All stories are based on existing books (For example "Sonnie's Edge" (S1E01) is based on the short story of the same name from Peter F. Hamilton's book, "A Second Chance at Eden"). The exceptions are "The Witness" (S1E03) and "Blindspot" (S1E15). The season aired on Netflix on March 15th 2019. All episodes are animated, except for "Ice Age" (S1E16), which uses live filming. A short description of each episode can be seen in the discussion page.

Handguns

Beretta 92FS

In "When the Yogurt Took Over" (S1E06) one of the brokers on the exchange uses a Beretta 92FS to shoot himself. Pistols are also seen in the holsters of some US Marines in Afghanistan in "Shape-Shifters" (S1E10).

Colt M1911A1

In "The Witness" (S1E03) the Colt M1911A1 is briefly seen at the beginning when the Witness Girl (voiced by Emily O'Brien) notices the murder. Hiding from the killer in a strip club, she finds this Colt M1911A1 in Vladimir's (voiced by Nolan North) cabinet and puts it in her bag. When the Man (voiced by Ben Sullivan) catches up with her, she draws out a pistol. During a fight, Women accidentally shoots and kills him. Since both of them were caught in a time loop, the Colt appeared over and over again.

Glock 17

In "Sucker Of Souls" (S1E05) mercenary, accompanying Dr. Wehunt (voiced by Michael Benyaer), named Flynn (voiced by Fred Tatasciore) carries a Glock 17 as his main weapon. He shoots Dracula multiple times, but no result. Two other mercenaries, Gary (voiced by Laura Waddell) and Micky (voiced by Jonathon Cahill) also hold the same pistols when they are trapped by similar Dracula vampires at the end of the episode.

Fictional Pistol

Canadian and American Marines have fictional pistols as secondary weapons in "Lucky 13" (S1E13). The pistol has black pistol grips, a slide similar to the Hudson H9 and the Laugo Alien (specifically the simular gas delayed blowback system with a fixed barrel).

Kali's Gun

Kali (voiced by Jill Talley) carries a firearm during the train heist in "Blindspot" (S1E15). Angry, she points a gun at Sui (voiced by Carlos Alazraqui). When an alarm goes off on the train, she shoots several guards.

OSP-30 Flare Pistol

Sergei and another Soviet soldier use OSP-30 Flare Pistol with red and green rockets to send signals to other units in "Secret War" (S1E18).

What appears to be a SIG-Sauer P226 Elite pistols are seen in the holsters of some US Marines in Afghanistan in "Shape-Shifters" (S1E10).

Revolvers

Colt Single Action Army

Pearly (voiced by Ande Sogliuzzo) carries a holstered nickel Single Action Army with a 7.5" barrel while talking with Dave (voiced by Nolan North) in "The Dump" (S1E09). When he hears strange noises, Pearly draws a gun and shoots it several times. When the monster grabs Perly he loses his revolver.

Nagant 1895 Revolver

A holster with a Nagant 1895 revolver is seen on Kravchenko's belt, but he does not use it during the final battle with the ghouls in "Secret War" (S1E18). Oleg (voiced by uncredited actor) uses a Nagant to commit suicide, and the wounded Nikolai for protection in order to get to the detonator.

As soon as the PPSh ran out of ammo, Nikolai changes it to a Nagant with a flare and continues the fight.

But the mortal wound makes itself felt, and he falls next to the detonator.

On the "Lincoln shoots first" timeline picture in "Alternate Histories" (S1E17) the 16th president of the United States holds a Remington 1858 New Army.

Submachine Guns

FN P90 TR

The FN P90 TRs are carried by mercenaries Micky and Gary in "Sucker Of Souls" (S1E05). They shoot Dracula, being trapped in a room. When Flynn allows the C4 to be used, Gary throws the P90 down with joy and runs to set the explosives. After Dr. Wehunt has found a way out, for some unknown reason the mercenaries do not take P90s with them, like all other weapons.

PPSh-41

Most Soviet soldiers, including Lt. Nikolai Zakharov (voiced by Stefan Kapicic), Malenchenko (voiced by Jeff Berg), Sr. Sergeant Sergei Kravchenko (voiced by Bruce Thomas), and Oleg (voiced by uncredited actor) in "Secret War" (S1E18) are armed with PPSh-41 submachine guns. Jr. Sergeant Okhchen changes his Mosin rifle to PPSh-41 with a flashlight when, together with Corporal Pogodin (voiced by Victor Brandt), sets off to mine the ghouls' den.

Rifles / Carbines

Enemies of the Marines use 7.62 AK-Alfa with forend, barrel, and heatshield from M249 as their main weapon in "Lucky 13" (S1E13).

Daniel Defense MK18

What appears to be a Daniel Defense MK18 with an EOTech sight is seen stuck into the body of a dead Marine in "Shape-Shifters" (S1E10). Several US Marines are armed with the same carbines.

The next day, two Marines accompanying Decker (voiced by Graham Hamilton) and Major Reyner (voiced by James Horan) in the village are armed with the same carbines.

Great War-era American Gun

In "Alternate Histories" (S1E17) American soldiers in the trenches are armed with cartoonized guns, vaguely resembling a M1A1 Carbine, but with AK-style magazine and specific muzzle.

After the "Lucky 13" crashes in "Lucky 13" (S1E13), one of the Marines raises a CTAR from the floor, which is different from the others: it has an extended trigger guard, resembling a Vector's bottom part, and something under the forearm that looks like an UBGL, namely the XM148.

Several Canadian and American Marines carry what appears to be a visually modified scoped IMI Tavor STAR-21 in "Lucky 13" (S1E13).

After the "Lucky 13" crashes, the Marines come to their senses. Due to a camera in the cargo hold, one of the survivors can be seen armed with a sniper rifle.

Fictional Rifle

The train guards in "Blindspot" (S1E15) shoot the train robbers with fictional rifles, similar to M41A Pulse Rifle from Aliens franchise and have the barrel and forend from the USAS-12. Sui rips off one of the guards' arm with the rifle and kills him with the buttstock.

Laser rifle

In "Alternate Histories" (S1E17) the time-traveling Nazis and the time-traveling anti-Nazis are armed with the same laser rifles with red and green lasers respectively. They use this in a short skirmish until Hitler from the future steps in.

M16A4

Most US Marines in Afghanistan in "Shape-Shifters" (S1E10) carry M16A4s with ACOG scopes. The squad is armed with rifles during the scouting at the beginning of the episode. Other Marines hold rifles at the military base.

In "Alternate Histories" (S1E17) German soldiers in the trenches are armed with cartoonized rifles and bayonets. Most likely it is Gewehr 1898, the main German rifle in World War I.

Mosin Nagant Rifle

Jr. Sergeant Okhchen (voiced by Antonio Alvarez) uses a Mosin Nagant M91/30 Sniper Rifle with PU scope as his main weapon in "Secret War" (S1E18). But changes it to PPSh-41 in the ghouls' den. What appears to be a Mosin rifle lies next to the corpse in the village.

Pattern 14 Enfield

In a universe where Adolf Hitler was killed by a run-away horse-drawn wagon filled with bratwurst, an English soldier tries to escape from Germany's Super Tank during World War I in "Alternate Histories" (S1E17). A cartoonized rifle with a bayonet is seen in his hands. Most likely it is Pattern 14 Enfield, the main British bolt-action rifle in World War I.

The previous squad of Marines sits a second before death. Like everyone else, these Marines are armed with Tavor-21 Manticore Arms handguards. The weapon rack is also seen from the side, on the wall. Note that the top two rifles have custom forend.

In "Three Robots" (S1E02), a SIG SG 556 with aftermarket (or fictional) handguard and Aimpoint sight is seen on the dead body of a soldier.

Taliban militia's weapon

One of the Afghan Taliban opens fire on a squad of US Marines with an unidentified gun in "Shape-Shifters" (S1E10). It is impossible to say exactly what kind of weapon it is, one can only assume that judging by the single shooting and long-range, this is a Soviet or Russian-made sniper rifle, such as a SVD or Mosin Nagant.

What appears to be a Württembergisch Musket M1857 of one of the German soldiers is seen stuck in the jelly after being attacked by a gelatin gun in "Alternate Histories" (S1E17).

Double Barreled Shotgun

In "The Dump" (S1E09) Dave "Ugly Dave" Dvorchackhave (voiced by Nolan North) points a 12 Gauge Double Barreled Shotgun at the city inspector (voiced by Gary Cole) during the first meeting. After that, the gun can be seen near Dave's chair. In flashback, Dave grabs the gun when Pearly comes running screaming. After that, he points DBS at dump monster.

In "Suits" (S1E04), Helen (voiced by Courtenay Taylor) brings the FABARM STF 12 Short Initial with a wooden handguard and pistol grip at the farm. She reloads and kills several DeeBees while saving Beth.

General Shotgun

Flynn's mercenaries in "Sucker Of Souls" (S1E05) have a pump-action shotgun in their arsenal. It is impossible to accurately determine the model due to the peculiarities of the drawing. Gary takes it and, along with the others, shoots Dracula.

A Browning M2HB is fired from a Marine Humvee in "Shape-Shifters" (S1E10). Several Humvees with Brownings are seen at the military base. The Boeing B-29 Superfortress also has several Browning machine gun turrets in "Alternate Histories" (S1E17).

The General Dynamics M197 Vulcans are mounted on military transport aircraft in "Lucky 13" (S1E13). Cutter uses it in pursuit of enemy fighters and to cover the evacuating Marines.

What appears to be a twin-mounted M242 Bushmaster chaingun is mounted on Cutter's dropship in "Lucky 13" (S1E13). She uses this by shooting stone pillars to make obstacles for enemy planes.

Minigun Turrets

Hank and Beth's farm in "Suits" (S1E04) has several turrets with twin miniguns and laser sights. Beth activates this when the situation gets out of control.

In "Blindspot" (S1E15), when the cyborgs kill the guards, Sui climbs onto the roof and then the turrets with miniguns are activated, about which Bob (voiced by Chris Cox) forgot to warn the crew.

C4 Explosives

Flynn's mercenaries in "Sucker Of Souls" (S1E05) have a C4 explosive in their arsenal. Gary sets up an explosive in the room where they were hiding. And after escaping, she blows it up, which kills Dracula.

Molotov Cocktail

Flynn's mercenaries in "Sucker Of Souls" (S1E05) have a Molotov cocktail in their arsenal, but they never used it. In "When the Yogurt Took Over" (S1E06) one of the rioters throws a Molotov cocktail at the riot squad.

Fictional Bomb

A cyborg crew uses fictional bombs to heist a train in "Blindspot" (S1E15). Rookie (voiced by Aaron Himelstein) and Sui (voiced by Carlos Alazraqui) install several bombs on the guard car by mechanical hands on their cars.

Some Soviet soldiers, including Private Kaminsky and Maxim, have a RGD-33 stick grenades on their belts in "Secret War" (S1E18).

The ZiS-2 Anti-Tank Gun is installed on Germany's Super Tank in "Alternate Histories" (S1E17).

American Artillery

What appears to be a fictional cartoonized artillery (or tank) is seen on the American part of the trenches in "Alternate Histories" (S1E17).

Boeing B-29 Superfortress

After winning World War I, Boeing B-29 Superfortress with Browning M2 turrets and M2 Cannons drops a bomb on Berlin in "Alternate Histories" (S1E17).

Fictional Anti-Aircraft Missile Launcher

Enemies of the Marines use the fictional Anti-Aircraft missile launcher to shoot down the "Lucky 13" Dropship in "Lucky 13" (S1E13). The Lucky's onboard computer calls the missile "M-42".

The enemies are deploying the AA launcher again to smoke Cutter out from the dropship. Perhaps this is the same launcher from which the plane was shot down.

Hitler's Robot from the Future

In the midst of a gunfight between the two-time travel teams in "Alternate Histories" (S1E17), a red robot appears and burns both squads (friendly fire is bad) and then shoots the skeletons with two four-barreled machine guns. As it turns out, Hitler himself was the operator of the robot, but from the future, and touching the 1908 version of himself leads to a space-time paradox.

..and shoots their skeletons.

"Lucky 13" Dropship

After two crews on the Dropship #13-02313 are lost in "Lucky 13" (S1E13), other Marines become superstitious and give the unlucky ship to rookie Lt. "Cutter" Colby (voiced by Samira Wiley). Cutter flies twenty missions without casualty; under her charge, the ship is renowned as "Lucky 13". On one mission, the ship fails, but all its occupants survive. The troops evacuate as Cutter occupies enemy combatants; when overwhelmed, Cutter sets 13 to self-destruct to kill many enemy troops it can. After reaching the trench, Cutter watches as the ship does not detonate until enemy troops take over, where 13 takes them all down with her. To control the transport, two pilots are needed (Chief Warrant Officer Lee (voiced by Daisuke Tsuji) was the co-pilot of Cutter). There is a large compartment behind the cockpit where the soldiers and weapon rack are accommodated. It is known that the aircraft is equipped with video cameras on wings, cockpit, in front, and cargo, through which the viewer, as it were, "observes with the eyes" of the "Lucky 13". The panel located in the cargo has a self-destruct function. The dropship also has weapons: what appears to be a M242 Bushmaster chaingun on the roof of the cockpit, visually modified General Dynamics M197 Vulcan and сhaff countermeasures, which the Cutter uses to destroy enemy fighters. Fun fact that Lucky 13's data plate indicates that it is a Sikorsky UH-80S manufactured in September of 2077 in Valencia, California, USA.

Nuclear Weapon of the Intelligent Rat Civilization

After the complete destruction of humanity by a huge asteroid in "Alternate Histories" (S1E17), intelligent rats built their civilization "with ideal democracy". However, world politics deteriorate, leading to a nuclear war that completely destroys the Earth. Again.

Russian Gelatin Gun

In "Alternate Histories" (S1E17), it becomes known that the Russian Empire has a huge gelatin cannon, which killed all the revolutionaries.

Silo Autocannon

Besides the turrets, Hank and Beth's farm in "Suits" (S1E04) is armed with a large autocannon disguised in the silo. Beth activates this when a giant DeeBee appears from the portal.

Soviet explosives

Corporal Pogodin sets explosives in the ghouls' den while Okhchen covers him in "Secret War" (S1E18). Zakharov also gives the order to Maxim and Oleg to mine the cliff, where the five heroes will fight the ghouls. In the midst of the battle, Maxim reaches the detonator but does not have time to activate it, dying from the ghouls. The mortally wounded Zakharov, scaring off the ghouls with a flare, activates the detonator.

Petlyakov Pe-8 bomber

Malenchenko handed over the coordinates of the ghouls' den to the major in "Secret War" (S1E18) and after that, the command decided to arrange a bombing.

"T-28" Fighters

The enemies of the Marines use fictional "T-28" Fighters to chase Cutter's dropship in "Lucky 13" (S1E13). Jets have blue beam missiles and blue laser machine guns. When the Lucky 13 runs out of ammunition and only one T-28 is left on the tail, Cutter hovers over it and uses countermeasures, burning the pilots and detonating the plane.

World War I Fighter

Wrist mounted cyborg's guns

Hawk (voiced by Brian Bloom) and Sui have cannons mounted on their hands. They use them during a train robbery in "Blindspot" (S1E15).

Farmer's Mechs

In "Suits" (S1E04), the community of farmers-colonists uses special mechs to fight the local fauna. Their detailed armament will be described below.

Frank's Mech

Hank's Mech is a humanoid robot with a cabin with an operator on its chest. Attached to the cabin are two "arms" used both in farming and in combat. The mech is equipped with two General Dynamics M197 Vulcan, two automatic cannons called "shotguns" and a flamethrower.

First, Hank (voiced by Neil Kaplan) activates two General Dynamics M197 Vulcan and uses it to shoot DeeBees until they run out of ammo.

Hank's "Shotgun"

The massive gun, called Hank a "Shotgun", is used by him after the minigun. The weapon looks like a tank cannon with metal "fingers", sticking out in all directions. It fired high-explosive rounds.

Hank uses a flamethrower when he runs out of ammo in his main weapons.

Jake's Mech

Jake's Mech is a humanoid robot with a round cabin and two "arms". Intimidating patterns are visible across the entire surface of the mech, and a wired railgun is located on the operator's cab roof. On the "arms", which are hydraulic pistons, two GE M134 Minigun with a massive under-barrel drum mounted are installed. It is also known that the mech is powered by nuclear batteries that can be detonated in a critical situation.

GE M134 Minigun

Jake (voiced by Scott Whyte) uses two GE M134 Minigun with a massive under-barrel drum throughout all fight, shooting off hundreds of DeeBees, giving the others the opportunity to get to the bunker.

"P-50 Railgun"

Jake uses the railgun at the same time as the miniguns. The shots look like a powerful pink beam, burning out the ranks of DeeBees. One of them jumps on top of the Mech and disables the weapon.

DeeBee finds the Mech's Achilles heel and gnaws at the wires connected to the railgun. It is worth noting that it was a rather stupid decision to place the wires in such an open place.

Mech's self destruction

As it was written above, Jake's Mech is equipped with a self-destruct button for nuclear batteries. After DeeBees overturned Jake's Mech, he decides to commit suicide by killing as many DeeBees as possible.

Crazy Mel's Mech

Crazy Mel's Mech is a massive cabin with four legs. On the roof of the cabin, there is a multiple rocket launcher and two "arms" with miniguns.
