In "The 10 Li'l Grifters Job" (S4E02), an M1911A1 is used to threaten Nate. In a flashback to World War II, an American officer (portrayed by Christian Kane) is seen using the M1911A1 in "The Van Gogh Job" (S4E04).
Pre-War Colt M1911A1 Pistol - Commercial Model known as the "Colt Government Model" - .45 ACP. This has a deep Colt factory blued finish, common for commercial variants before and after the war.
During a costume party, Nate (
Timothy Hutton) is threatened with an M1911A1 in "The 10 Li'l Grifters Job" (S4E02).
Timothy Hutton's costume here is a nod to Ellery Queen, a television character portrayed by his late father
Jim Hutton.

M1 Garand rifles are carried by American Soldiers seen during a flashback to WWII in Europe in "The Van Gogh Job" (S4E04). These have the external screw on Blank Firing adapters.
