Knight Rider (2008 - 2009)

Knight Rider is the 2008 sequel television series to the original 1982 action series that starred David Hasselhoff. In this series, Justin Bruening as Michael Traceur, a former Army Ranger who discovers that he is the son of Michael Knight of the original series. When the US government recruits him for covert missions, he is given the new identity of Michael Knight as well as an updated version of KITT, the supercar driven by his father in the original series. This version of Knight Rider ran for one season on NBC.

In Season 1, Episode 13 "Exit Light, Enter Knight", Bank robbers uses M16A2 assault rifles in storming the bank. Michael Knight (Justin Bruening) commandeers an M16A2 with Leatherwood scope mount with telescopic rifle scope from a trunk of an LAPD cruiser against the robbers.
