”Kiss Me, Deadly” (1955)

“Kiss Me, Deadly,” based on the novel by Mickey Spillaine, is one of the greatest film noir motion pictures. Directed by Robert Aldrich (Whatever Happened to Baby Jane? The Dirty Dozen, The Longest Yard), the film stars Ralph Meeker, Albert Dekker, and, in her first film role, Cloris Leachman. Divorce detective Mike Hammer (Ralph Meeker) tries to save his assistant, Velda Wickman (Maxine Cooper), and himself from a crime syndicate by solving the puzzle, “Remember me.”
