Many of the Venture crewmen are seen using Krag-Jørgensen Rifles

Birmingham Small Arms Lee-Speed Sporter

Carl Denham (Robert Armstrong) is seen using and firing a Birmingham Small Arms Lee-Speed Sporter, it was thought to have been a Krag Carbine, but the lack of a magazine box proves this wrong.

Colt Police Positive

Jack Driscoll (Bruce Cabot) and Captain Engelhorn (Frank Reicher) use a Colt Police Positive as their sidearm throughout the movie.

Machine gun

Lewis Gun

The Lewis gun is mounted on the gunner seat in the planes that pursue Kong.

Browning M1918 Aircraft

Browning M1918 Aircraft machine guns are mounted on the planes that pursue Kong only that it's controlled by the pilot. These are Browning M1918 .30 cal aircraft as used in Hell's Angels. The Browning M1918 was a modified Browning M1917 manufactured by Remminton which has the water cooling jacket replaced with a slotted air cooled barrel jacket.

Fictional Gas Bombs

Carl Denham carries around 2 boxes of his own brand new gas bombs that he claims will bring down a charging elephant, in reality they look to be like oversized MK II pineapple grenades.
