Background

The Keep was the second feature film direct by Michael Mann. It has gained something of a cult film status and many consider it a campy classic..

MP40

Several of the German soldiers including Captain Klaus Woermann (Jürgen Prochnow) carry MP40 machine guns.

MP28/II

The SS troops commanded by Major Kaempffer (Gabriel Byrne) mostly use Haenel-Schmeisser MP28/II submachine guns.
