Journey's End is a 1930 British-American World War I film directed by James Whale based on the novel of the same name by R. C. Sherriff. The movie shows the everyday life of a British squad during trench warfare in 1918, 3 days before the German Spring Offensive.

The movie has been filmed several times again: A German version from 1931 under the title "The Other Side", the 1976 British-French war film Aces High directed by Jack Gold based on the plot and the television film adaptation of 1988.
