Benefit Of The Doubt (2012)

Jesse Stone: Benefit of the Doubt (2012) is the eighth installment in the Jesse Stone television movie series starring Tom Selleck as the former big city detective turned small town police chief. When new Paradise Police Chief William Butler and Officer Anthony D’Angelo are killed in a patrol car explosion, Jesse Stone is called out of professional and personal exile to investigate. Early evidence suggests Butler was a dirty cop, but Jesse doesn’t believe it and decides to give Butler the benefit of the doubt.

As in the previous films, Jesse Stone (Tom Selleck) uses a Smith & Wesson SW1911PD Gunsite Edition throughout the movie as well as the entire Jesse Stone series. In reality, Tom Selleck is a life long shooter and a big fan of the 1911 design.

Arthur Gallery's (Robert Carradine) main weapon is a Browning BLR 81 with a quick detachable scope, rear reticule sight and light attachment. When we first see it is in the trunk of Gallery's car. It is identified by Chief Stone as being a .308 caliber.
