Insomnia is a 2002 thriller starring Al Pacino as Will Dormer, a sleep-deprived LAPD detective who travels to Alaska to investigate a murder in a small town. Robin Williams plays a novelist who could provide the key to solving the murder and Hilary Swank is the young Alaskan police detective who looks to Dormer for guidance.
