In the alternate opening of the movie, Bruce Banner ([[Edward Norton]]) walks on top of a glacier, and pulls out an older [[Smith & Wesson Model 10]] revolver. He aims the gun and cocks the hammer, only to transform into the Hulk, and crush the gun in his hand. This early Model 10 appears to have had the standard 4-inch barrel cut down to about 3-inches.

The weapon Emil Blonsky ([[Tim Roth]]) carries during the commando operations is a heavily modified [[Heckler & Koch MP5A3]] fitted with a tri-rail and a Surefire flashlight with a IR filter and cover. Apparently, the strike teams with Blonsky have tranquilizer ammo loaded in their magazines before switching to live ammo (in the movie's universe, apparently they can swap between tranq and live ammo without modifying the weapon externally in any way).

Nearly all of the U.S. military personnel in the movie use the [[M16A4]] with the carry handle sight and A2 handguard. A close inspection of many of the rifles reveals that they have the removable carry handles which have been left on in the movie due to the screw knobs being present, which means they're M16A4s.

[[M4A1 carbine]]s are also used by the U.S. military personnel in the movie, and by one of the commandos in Brazil. During the shootout at the university, Emil Blonsky ([[Tim Roth]]) briefly grabs an M4 dropped by one of the soldiers and empties it at Hulk futilely. All of the M4s in the movie seem to have the older-style 4 position CAR stocks even though the 6-position stock is much more common today.

The Incredible Hulk is the second feature film adaptation of the Marvel comic book series (the first being 2003's Hulk). Edward Norton stars as Bruce Banner, who goes into hiding as he tries to find a way to reverse the mutation that causes him to become the green beast. This film was directed by Louis Leterrier and is part of "Phase One" of the Marvel Cinematic Universe that includes Iron Man, Thor and Captain America: The First Avenger and culminated in 2012's The Avengers.

The following weapons were used in the film The Incredible Hulk:

Pistols

SIG-Sauer P226R

All of the soldiers in the movie use SIG-Sauer P226R (rail-frame) pistols as their sidearms. Emil Blonsky (Tim Roth) uses his to shoot at Hulk and threaten Dr. Sterns, AKA Mr. Blue.

A close-up of the SIG-Sauer P226R being held on Dr. Samuel Sterns (Tim Blake Nelson).

Beretta 92FS

The Beretta 92FS is used by many of the New York City police officers during the final battle between Hulk and the Abomination.

Glock 17

Glock 17s are also used by some of the New York City police officers.

More NYPD officers, armed mostly with Glock 17s.

Smith & Wesson Model 10

In the alternate opening of the movie, Bruce Banner (Edward Norton) walks on top of a glacier and pulls out an older Smith & Wesson Model 10 revolver. He aims the gun and cocks the hammer, only to transform into the Hulk, and crush the gun in his hand. This early Model 10 appears to have had the standard 4-inch barrel cut down to about 3-inches, removing the front sight.

Submachine Guns

Heckler & Koch MP5A3

The weapon Emil Blonsky (Tim Roth) carries during the commando operations is a heavily modified Heckler & Koch MP5A3 fitted with a tri-rail and a Surefire flashlight with a IR filter and cover. Apparently, the strike teams with Blonsky have tranquilizer ammo loaded in their magazines before switching to live ammo (in the movie's universe, apparently they can swap between tranq and live ammo without modifying the weapon externally in any way).

Heckler & Koch UMP

A Heckler & Koch UMP is used by one of the commandos (Greg Bryk). It has a straight magazine, so it's either the .40 S&W or the .45 ACP model.

Assault Rifles

M16A2

Some U.S. military personnel in the movie use the M16A2 assault rifle along with the common M16A4.

Hulk charges a group of soldiers who are firing their M16s at him. The soldier on the left has a M16A2.

M16A4

Nearly all of the U.S. military personnel in the movie use the M16A4 with the carry handle sight and A2 handguard. A close inspection of many of the rifles reveals that they have the removable carry handles which have been left on in the movie due to the screw knobs being present, which means they're M16A4s.

M4A1

M4A1 carbines are also used by the U.S. military personnel in the movie, and by one of the commandos in Brazil. During the shootout at the university, Emil Blonsky (Tim Roth) briefly grabs an M4 dropped by one of the soldiers and empties it at Hulk futilely. All of the M4s in the movie seem to have the older-style 4 position CAR stocks even though the 6-position stock is much more common today.

SIG SG 552

One of the commandos (Chris Owens) in the first confrontation with Hulk wields a specialized SIG SG 552.

Heckler & Koch G36C

A Heckler & Koch G36C is used by one of the commandos. The actor playing this particular commando is Al Vrkljan, who was also one of the movie's armorers. Mr. Vrkljan has also posted on IMFDB and provided much of the info on particular types of weapons seen here, for which IMFDB is extremely grateful!
