I Declare War (2012)

I Declare War is a 2012 Canadian action/fantasy directed by Jason Lapeyre and Robert Wilson. Although the film's entire cast is made up of pre-teens, all of the guns fired onscreen were real, which were only imaginary to the film's characters.

The following weapons were used in the film I Declare War:

Handguns

M1911A1

Quinn (Aidan Gouveia) is armed with an M1911A1.

Beretta 92FS

P.K. (Gage Munroe) is armed with a nickel-plated Beretta 92FS, although it's quite possible this is a blank-firing replica like a Reck Miami 92F.

Submachine Guns

Uzi

Skinner (Michael Friend) is initially armed with an Uzi.

Shotguns

Sawn-off Double Barreled Shotgun

Joker (Spencer Howes) is armed with a Sawn-off Double Barreled Shotgun. Frost (Alex Cardillo) briefly takes it away from him.

Special

Spencer Howes fires the second of this two barrels. Remarkably, he has kept his eyes open. Note the crew members covering their ears.

Rifles/Carbines

AKS-47

Paul (Siam Yu) is armed with an AKS-47.

M4A1

Kenney (Eric Hanson) and Scott (Alex Wall) are armed with M4A1s.

It looks like not all of the gun safety training took. (See below)

Special

Stunt coordinator John Stead teaches the kids about gun safety during their "boot camp," which seems to have taken place at a public park.

SIG SG 552

Sikorski (Dyson Fyke) and Frost (Alex Cardillo) are armed with short-barrelled SIG SG 552s with pronged flash hiders and standard diopter sights. Dyson Fyke correctly identifies them as such during a making-of featurette.

Birmingham Small Arms Lee-Speed Sporter

Wesley (Andy Reid), who was new to the game, finally uses his imagination and turns his broken air gun into a Birmingham Small Arms Lee-Speed Sporter.

Other

M136 AT4

Frost finds a log and imagines it as an M136 AT4.

Browning M2 Aircraft

Wesley imagines a mocked up mounted weapon as a tricked out Browning M2 Aircraft.

M67 hand grenade

P.K. tosses an M67 hand grenade, which Frost catches and tosses back.

Crossbow

Jess (Mackenzie Munro) uses a crossbow throughout the film.
