The following guns were used in the movie I Am Legend
AR15
Robert Neville (Will Smith) uses an AR15 with Select Fire capabilities. His AR is also equipped with an ACOG (TA31 Series) sight attachment throughout the movie. The Light is a Pentagon MD3R. M4A1s are also used by many of the military personnel seen evacuating Neville and his family from New York City during the flashback scenes.
Technicality
Military carbines such as the M4 series of weapons utilize a 14.5" barrel and are contracted by Colt. Neville's AR has a barrel length of 16", which fulfills the NFA barrel length regulation. Although Neville's weapon had the same barrel profile style as an M4, he did not use a true M4.

Neville (Will Smith) kills the infected dogs in I Am Legend with an Olive Drab H&K Mk 23 Mod 0 "SOCOM".
M67 Hand Grenade
Robert Neville (Will Smith) pulls out an M67 hand grenade in the climax of the movie.
Smith & Wesson 5946
Robert Neville (Will Smith) draws a Smith & Wesson 5946 on Anna (Alice Braga) and Ethan (Charlie Tahan). The 5946 in the DAO setting is one of two pistols used by the NYPD, so it was likely recovered by Neville from an NYPD precinct. Smith & Wesson 5946 9mm

Anna (Alice Braga) draws a Glock 19 on Robert Neville (Will Smith) during breakfast in Neville's home. As the Glock 19 is a common NYPD weapon, this gun was, again, likely taken from an NYPD precinct.

One of the guards that greets Anna (Alice Braga) and Ethan (Charlie Tahan) is armed with an M16A2.
M249 SAW
When Dr.Neville (Will Smith) opens the gun cabinet you can see a M249 SAW along with another M4A1 Carbine with the flashlight on the opposite side.
