Green Zone is an upcoming 2010 thriller/war film directed by Paul Greengrass set in post-invasion Baghdad. Starring Matt Damon, Brendan Gleeson, Greg Kinnear and Amy Ryan, the plot follows Roy Miller, an American soldier who unravels a conspiracy while searching for weapons of mass destruction. All pictures are from the domestic full-length trailer.

Norinco Type 56-1

Norinco Type 56-1 rifles, distinguished by their hooded sights and handguards, are used by most of the Iraqi gunmen. Roy Miller takes one from his captors and uses it when he is fleeing from the Iraqis and a rogue American special forces unit.

Colt Model 727

One of the Special Forces soldiers can be seen armed with a Colt Model 727 carbine, distinguishable by the A2-style upper reciever with fixed carry handle. It is fitted with an M68 Aimpoint red dot scope on the carry handle, and a Surefire Universal weaponlight.
