Gorod prinyal is a Soviet 1980 (filmed 1979) detective movie directed by Vyacheslav Maksakov and based on the novel by the Vayner Brothers. The movie depicts a full day of a duty team of Moscow Ugolovny Rozysk (criminal police). Main characters are detective Capt. Stanislav Tikhonov (Mikhail Chigaryov) (the recurring character of most Vayner Brothers novels), doctor Margarita Ushakova (Inna Alenikova), Tikhonov's love of past who meets with Tikhonov after many years of parting, and prosecutor's office investigator Anatoliy Skuratov (Aleksandr Porokhovshchikov) for whom this duty is planned to be the last.

Note: the original title cannot be translated (a literal translation "Accepted the city" is senseless). Gorod prinyal is a slang term for the phrase "The team started the daily duty in the city" and is used when a head of a team of law enforcement service (Militsia, in the case of this movie) reports to superiors.

The movie is the first screen adaptation of the original novel. In 2016 the novel was adapted once more as a part of TV series Sledovatel Tikhonov.

The following weapons were used in the film Gorod prinyal:
