The following weapons were used in the film Ghost in the Shell:
Major's Pistol (Glock 17)
Major Motoko Kusanagi (Scarlett Johansson) uses a pistol which appears to be based on the Glock 17. She also uses a white and transparent version of the pistol when wearing her thermoptic camouflage suit.
Major's Police Bike Tavor SMG (IWI X95)
Motoko Kusanagi (Scarlett Johansson) also uses a "Police Bike Tavor SMG", which is based on the IWI X95. Despite being identified as a submachine gun, the props used for the film presumably still fired 5.56×45mm NATO intermediate cartridges, rather than handgun cartridges.
Smith & Wesson Model 29
A Smith & Wesson Model 29 revolver is used by Chief Daisuke Aramaki (Takeshi Kitano).
Modified Mini Uzis
As in the 1995 film, gunmen use submachine guns disguised as briefcases. However, instead of Steyr SPPs, the weapons are now modified Mini Uzis. A gunman wields a pair of unmodified ones, save for wraps on the handguards, and a character named Skinny Man fires a highly modified Mini Uzi in a shell.
Crye Precision SIX12
The shotgun used by Batou (Pilou Asbæk) is a modified Crye Precision Six12.
