Get Out (2017)

Get Out is the 2017 horror film that was the directorial debut of Jordan Peele, the writer/actor/comedian best known for starring alongside Keegan-Michael Key in the Comedy Central sketch show Key & Peele. Daniel Kaluuya stars as Chris, a young black man who reluctantly attends the family reunion of his white girlfriend Rose (Allison Williams). He then slowly discovers something unusual with Rose's family. The film would receive Academy Award nominations for Best Director and Best Picture and Peele would eventually receive an Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay.
