The Gang (Le Gang) is a 1977 French crime movie directed by Jacques Deray and starring Alain Delon as the criminal Robert called "Le dingue" ("The crazy"). The movie is based on the memoirs of former police inspector Roger Borniche (another movie, based on Borniche's memoirs, is Flic Story, where Delon appeared as Borniche himself).

During the robbery of jewelry store jeweler's wife appears with a small caliber pocket revolver.

In the scene on the railway station Jo (Xavier Depraz), disguised as gendarme, is armed with a pistol that is seen very briefly and is hard to be identified. It can be MAB Model D too but not for sure.

Robert (Alain Delon) and several of his companions, including Raymond (Roland Bertin) and Manu (Adalberto Maria Merli), use Sten Mk II submachine guns during the robberies. Jo (Xavier Depraz) is armed with Sten during the police raid.
MAS-38
Gendarmes with MAS-38 submachine guns are seen in many scenes. Robert (Alain Delon) use MAS-38 to break out from police commissariat and later in the shootout with police.
MP40
Manu (Adalberto Maria Merli) shoots MP40 during the police raid. Later Robert (Alain Delon) is armed with this SMG during the bank robbery.
