G.I. Blues is an American 1960 musical comedy directed by Norman Taurog and starring Elvis Presley as Tulsa McLean, U.S. Army Spec. 5, tank crewmember who serves in the 3rd Armored "Spearhead" Division, stationed in West Germany. The following weapons were used in the film G.I. Blues:

Pistols

Colt M1911

Numerous U.S. Army tank crewmembers carry Colt M1911 pistols, identified by flat mainspring housings (M1911A1 would better fit for 1950s).

Trivia

M48 Patton Main Battle Tank

Tulsa McLean and his buddies are crewmembers of M48A1 Patton tank. Numerous M48A1 and some earlier M48 tanks are seen in the movie.

M48A1 Patton. The turret was fitted with a cupola that enclosed the M2HB machine gun, that differs M48A1 from original M48. The tank is also armed with coaxial Browning M1919A4 machine gun (at the left of the main gun) but the gun mantlet is covered with tarpaulin that prevents to seen the machine gun barrel.

In one scene several piecies of self-propelled artillery are seen in distance. They appear to be 155mm M44.

A pair of supposed M44s is seen at background left.

F-102 Delta Dagger

A USAF jet fighter Convair F-102 Delta Dagger is seen in one scene.
