Friends from the Gypsy Camp (the direct translation of the original title Druzya iz tabora) is a 1938 Soviet B&W children's adventure movie directed by Dmitri Varlamov and Grigoriy Lomidze. During the Russian Civil War a Gypsy kid and his tame bear help the Red Army.

The following weapons were used in the film Friends from the Gypsy Camp (Druzya iz tabora):

Revolvers

Nagant M1895

The Gypsy kid Yasha Sheverdin (Nikolay Smorchkov (II)), the commander of the Red Army detachment, composed of Tula workers, Mikhail Yegorovich Mozhaev (Sergei Vecheslov), the commander of the White Army cavalry squadron Rotmistr (Capt.) Golovin (Sergey Martinson) and some other Reds and Whites carry Nagant M1895 revolvers.

In this scene he has a common, non-deactived revolver.

Pistols

Mauser C96

Mozhaev's deputy Kuzmich (Vladimir Dorofeyev) and Red sailor Kazberyuk (Nikolai Arsky) carry Mauser C96 pistols.

FN Model 1900

Rotmistr (Capt.) Golovin (Sergey Martinson) carry an FN Model 1900 pistol. In one scene Red Army man Rozhkov (Sergey Nikonov) teaches Yasha to properly use an FN 1900.

But the pistol is unloaded, and Golovin takes it back.

Rifles

Mosin Nagant M1891 Infantry

Mosin Nagant M1891 Infantry rifles are widely used by both Reds and Whites.

Mosin Nagant M1891 Dragoon

Mosin Nagant M1891 Dragoon rifles are also used by both Reds and Whites.

Mosin Nagant M1907 Carbine

Kasyan Sergeevich (Nikolay Gorlov), the cook in Mozhaev's detachment, carries a Mosin Nagant M1907 Carbine. One of the White cavalrymen is also seen with an M1907 Carbine.

Unidenfitied Mosin Nagant rifle

One of the Red Army men carries an unknown version of Mosin Nagant Rifle. Its nose cap and protected front sight with large "ears" bear similarity to the ones used on Finnish Mosin Nagant rifles, but both these details and the position of rifle sling slot doesn't match exactly any Finnish model.

The cavalryman carries the rifle. Note the Finnish style nose cap, the "ears" on the front sight that differs in shape from Finnish rifles, and the position of the rifle sling slot that is too near to the nose cap.

Mauser Gewehr 1898

Several of the Reds and the Whites are armed with Mauser Gewehr 1898 rifles.

Hunting rifle

One of the Reds holds a long gun that seems to be a hunting or sporing rifle, possibly a small caliber one. A front sight is visible so this gun is less likely a bolt-action Berdanka or Frolovka shotgun.

During the river crossing, a man in center carries a rifle in raised hand.

Machine Guns

Maxim M1910

The Red detachment has several Maxim M1910 machine guns. The Maxims are fitted with mockup shields, likely made of cardboard.

Other Weapons

RG-14 Hand Grenade

The cook Kasyan Sergeevich (Nikolay Gorlov) carries a very battered RG-14 hand grenade that he uses as nothing more than a kitchen knife sharpener. More fit for battle RG-14s are used by the Red Army regiment commander Grachyov (uncredited) and other Red Army men, and also by Yasha Sheverdin (Nikolay Smorchkov (II)).

RG-12 Hand Grenade

Several of Tula workers' detachment personnel use RG-12 hand grenades. These grenades are extremely rare on screen, as the manufacturing of RG-12 was stopped in 1916, and most produced grenades were spent during the WWI and the Russian Civil War.

Pineapple Grenade

A pineapple grenade is seen together with RG-14 hand grenades. It is seen only partially so the exact model is unclear. Mills Bomb is a possible but not nessessary guess.

For comparison: No. 5 Mk. I "Mills Bomb"
