The following weapons were used in Season 2 of the television series Fortitude:

Pistols

Glock 17

Members of the Norwegian Police Service stationed in Fortitude continue to carry the Glock 17 as their service firearm. Sheriff Eric Odegard (Björn Hlynur Haraldsson), Officer Petra Bergen (Alexandra Moen) and Officer Ingrid Witry (Mia Jexen) are seen carrying them throughout. Dan Anderssen (Richard Dormer), the former Sheriff, also briefly uses one.

Note: Ordinary Norwegian police officers are usually not armed, but they have weapons in their patrol cars. The standard issue pistol for the Norwegian policemen is the Heckler & Koch P30, while the special unit has access to Glocks. It can be assumed the reason the officers permanently carry their guns is due to the laws in Fortitude stating all citizens must be armed (in case of polar bear attacks).

Glock 17 (3rd Gen) - 9x19mm.
Officer Ingrid Witry aims her Glock at Rune Lennox.
Eric, Petra and Ingrid search a suspects house with their weapons drawn.
Ingrid fires her Glock in the air to break up a fight between Eric Odegard and Michael Lennox.
Ingrid lowers her Glock after searching the police station after a break in.
Eric chases Vladek with his Glock drawn.
Eric aims his pistol after discovering a severed head.
The officers gear up in preparation to arrest Tomak.
Eric, Petra and Ingrid break into Tomak's bathroom with their weapons drawn.
Petra aims her Glock at Dan when she discovers where he is keeping Elena.
Petra searches Dan's house after he goes missing.
Dan chambers a round into Petra's Glock in preperation to confront Vladek.
The Glock lies on Eric's desk (along with another) after Dan ditches it, preferring a more brutal approach.
Petra aims her pistol at Dan as he attacks Vladek Klimov.

SIG-Sauer P226

Tomak Bowzyk (Gershwyn Eustache Jr.), a mercenary working for Schenthal Biotech, is seen assembling and chambering a SIG-Sauer P226 with a threaded barrel.

Dan Anderssen (Richard Dormer) briefly uses a Heckler & Koch P2A1 Flare Pistol with an orange finish to threaten Dr. Sarinda Khatri (Parminder Nagra) and obtain her access pass to the Fortitude Arctic Research Centre (FARC). Dr. Sarinda Khatri (Parminder Nagra) later uses it to kill Spindoe (Lorraine Burroughs) and herself by firing it inside a Schenthal Biotech helicopter.
