Mosin Nagant M91/30 Rifle

There are two appearances of the Mosin Nagant rifle, first near the start of the film where a peasant in a rice paddy takes a pot shot at the A-6 Intruder piloted by Lieutennant Jake "Cool Hand" Grafton (Brad Johnson) and his Bombadier/Navagator Lieutennant Morgan "Morg" McPhearson (Christopher Rich), "Morg" being fatally wounded by the shot, bleeding to death by the time the two return to their carrier. Near the end of the film, an N.V.A. sniper can be seen using a sniper version of the Mosin Nagant, chasing after the protagonists as they're trying to flee from the combat zone after being shot down in order to be rescued by helicopter.

M60 Machine Gun

Near the end of the film, an HH-3 "Jolly Green" rescue helicopter sent to airlift "Cool Hand" and Commander Fanke "Duke" Camparelli (Danny Glover) can be seen armed with an M60 machine gun for the door gunner, though the choppers rely mostly on the A-1 "Sandy" ground-attack planes to clear out most of the enemy ground fire for them.

M1911A1

The M1911A1 appears in the film as the sidearm of Lt. Commander Virgil "Tiger" Cole (Willem Dafoe) during the film. He can be seen cleaning it when discussing the "Sam City" mission with "Cool Hand", and then using it when the two are shot down over Vietnam during "Operation: Linebacker II", firing it at "Cool Hand" to keep him from trying to rescue Virgil since the N.V.A. were lying in wait planning to ambush anyone who tried to help him. Commander Camparelli also has an M1911A1, which "Cool Hand" comandeers when he goes to face the sniper persuing the protagonists, as described below.

SKS Rifle

After being shot down, Virgil accidentally stumbles upon an N.V.A. soldier armed with an SKS rifle. The soldier attempts to shoot Virgil but his aim is knocked off as Virgil kicks the muzzle of the weapon just as he fires, though still suffers a mortal wound from the shot, Virgil then using his survival knife to kill the soldier.

M2HB Browning Machine Gun

There are several appearances in the film of Browning M2HB heavy machine guns, erronrously shown being used by North Vietnamese forces as anti-aircraft weapons when in reality they'd be much more likely to be using DShK heavy machine guns instead.

Unknown Revolver

Near the end of the film, "Cool Hand" can be seen carrying a small-frame revolver (possibly a Smith & Wesson Model 36) as his sidearm when he's shot down. At one point, he uses the revolver and Commander Camparelli's M1911A1 akimbo, charging the sniper with both pistols blazing as the sniper's lining up on Camparelli.
