The Fast and the Furious is a 2001 action film starring Vin Diesel as Dom Torreto, a street racer who is suspected to be the head of a crew of hijackers. Paul Walker co-stars as Brian O'Conner, an up-and-coming racer who has to make a decision on whether to expose Terreto's deeds. Directed by Rob Cohen, this was the first in the film franchise which includes 2 Fast 2 Furious, The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, Fast & Furious, Fast Five and Fast & Furious 6.
