Far Cry is the 2008 film adaptation of the popular PC/console first-person shooter Far Cry by director Uwe Boll. It stars Til Schweiger as the protagonist, Jack Carver, who (despite having an American name, as per the source material) is supposed to be German (!?!).
The following weapons were used in the film Far Cry (2008):
Glock 17
Many of the mercenaries working for Dr. Krieger (Udo Kier) carry Gen 2 Glock 17s as their sidearms. Jack Carver (Til Schweiger) uses Glock 17s several times after taking them from slain or incapacitated mercenaries, and Katja Chernov (Natalia Avelon) can also be seen using one in at least one scene.
Generation 2 Glock 17 - 9x19mm
The leader of the mercenary group in the opening scene draws his Glock 17 (after somehow losing his H&K G36K).
General Roderick (
Don S. Davis of
Stargate: SG1 fame, in one of his final movie appearances) fires a Glock 17 at a super soldier to test his bulletproof muscles.

SIG-Sauer P226
Many mercenaries also carry SIG-Sauer P226s as sidearms. Near the end of the film, Jack Carver (Til Schweiger) is given a P226 by Jason Parker (Craig Fairbrass), the leader of the mercenaries, and uses it to hold Dr. Krieger (Udo Kier) hostage.

Airsoft P226R
In a few shots, Carver is holding what appears to be a rail-frame SIG P226R. Since his weapon transforms into an older-model non-rail P226 for firing scenes, it is likely that this is an airsoft replica of a P226R.

Walther P99
Katja Chernov (Natalia Avelon) uses a two-tone Walther P99 with a stainless slide and raised sights as her sidearm for almost the entire movie.

Franchi SPAS-12
Near the climax, Jack Carver grabs a Franchi SPAS-12 with its stock removed while being pursued by a super-soldier, and uses it for the subsequent gunfight.

Heckler & Koch MP5A3/A5
Many of the mercenaries use Heckler & Koch MP5A3s with Surefire grips, Navy trigger groups, and red-dot sights. There is also at least one MP5A3 in the movie which is fitted with an M203 grenade launcher, a configuration very similar to the weapon from End of Days (and Half-Life). Also, at least one of the MP5s has a four-position trigger group, which means it is an MP5A5 rather than an A3.

Many of the mercenaries use Heckler & Koch G36K carbine assault rifles, most fitted with vertical grips. Some have the dual-sight carry handle, while others do not.

M4A1 Carbine
Many mercenaries use M4A1 carbines fitted with RIS foregrips and Aimpoint M68 scopes. A few seem to be Olympic Arms K3B copies (including the one used by Parker).

Parker and one of his men wield M4s during the final, after the super soldiers escape. If you enlarge this image to full-size, it's possible to see that Parker's rifle has a "Stowaway" pistol grip, which means that the rifle (or at least its lower receiver) was manufactured by Olympic Arms.

M16A4
One of the mercenaries uses a kitted-out M16A4 near the climax. Judging by the olive drab furniture, his M16A4 may actually be an Armalite copy (an M-15 A4 or some similar model). Due to a continuity error, this mercenary goes from using an M16A4 to an M4A1 when he shoots at Dr. Krieger.

Several mercenaries are armed with Heckler & Koch UMPs, most likely the .45 ACP version.

One of the super soldiers grabs an H&K UMP from a mercenary he killed. Although he picks up the weapon, he is never actually seen firing it (such footage was likely filmed, but not used).
Krieger's men fire their weapons; the one in the front has a UMP, while the one in the background has a G36K.

M60 Machine Gun
Near the climax, when the super-soldiers are escaping, a guard in the labs opens fire on one of the super-soldiers with an M60 machine gun. The super-soldier kills him and then mans the M60 himself, using it to shoot at Jack Carver.

DShK
Many of the mercenaries' Humvees are fitted with what appear to be turret-mounted DShK heavy machine guns.

RPG-7
An RPG-7 is used by one of the mercenaries to destroy Jack Carver's boat. For some reason, it is portrayed as a mortar-type weapon (he fires it high into the air, and then the rocket hits the boat as it comes back down to Earth).
A mercenary raises an RPG-7 to his shoulder to destroy Jack Carver's boat. Funny that they carry the latest H&K rifles and subguns, yet they also use outdated Soviet-era launchers and HMGs.
