Extraction (previously known as Dhaka) is a 2020 Netflix original action thriller starring Chris Hemsworth as Tyler Rake, a mercenary who is assigned to extract the son of an Indian crime lord from the hands of his rival. The film was adapted from the graphic novel "Ciudad" by Ande Parks and was produced by the Russo Brothers, directors of Avengers: Endgame. The film was directed by Sam Hargrave, who was the stunt coordinator for several films within the MCU, and premiered on Netflix on April 24, 2020. Not to be confused with the 2015 DTV action film that stars Kellan Lutz and Bruce Willis. The movie is followed by the 2023 sequel, Extraction 2.
