Elephant (2003)

Elephant is a 2003 film directed by Gus Van Sant (Milk) that depicts a day in the life of high school students, two of whom later go on a shooting rampage. The film is based in part on the tragic events surrounding the 1999 Columbine shooting.

The following weapons were used in the film Elephant:

Handguns

Intratec TEC-9

Eric (Eric Deulen) is seen carrying a Intratec TEC-9 semi-automatic pistol.

Eric aims his TEC-9 at Mr. Luce.
Eric walks past the carnage down the hall holding his TEC-9.
Eric taunts Mr. Luce with his TEC-9.

Unknown Pistol

While planning the attack, Alex and Eric mention their arsenal of weapons. Alex mentions that they have pistols. One of these pistols is seen on Eric's right hip. It looks like it is possibly a SIG-Sauer pistol.

The pistol is located in a holster on his right hip. Possibly a SIG pistol

The pistol can be seen on the left side of the webpage. Hilariously, the handgun is placed in the category of "AK-47 rifles".

Ortgies Pocket Pistol 32

An Internet gun sales site appears to offer for sale a nickel Ortgies Pocket Pistol with wood grips.

Rifles

Bushmaster Carbon 15 R21

Throughout the film, Alex carries a Bushmaster Carbon 15 R21 semi-automatic carbine. For the rifle, he modifies and tapes two thirty-round magazines together "jungle style".

Shortly after receiving the rifle in the mail, Alex loads the firearm in his garage...
and opens fire on a pile of firewood with it. Somehow the two do not damage their hearing and the neighbors do not hear rifle fire going off in town.
A real-life video game.
Alex takes aim in the hallway.
Alex plays a game of eenie, meenie, miney, moe in a freezer full of dead meat.

Shotguns

Mossberg 590 Compact Cruiser

An Internet gun sales site appears to offer for sale a shotgun that resembles a Mariner variant of the Mossberg 590 Compact Cruiser. The shotgun seen on the site appears to be Photoshopped from several different weapons (most likely to avoid copyright infringement).

The shotgun as seen on the site. The shotgun seen on the site appears to be photoshopped from several different weapons (most likely to avoid copyright infringement). For some reason, it was located in "AK-47" rifle category, and if you read the description, it claims it to be an "automatic weapon", despite the fact that it is a pump action firearm (not even bringing up the fact that the website seems to promote shooting other hunters). This was likely done for satirical reasons, or just plain lack of knowledge on how guns work. Or you could argue that the website is illegal and of questionable scruples, as the two do not look old enough to purchase the firearms and have them delivered directly to Alex's house rather than a licensed dealer.

Mossberg 500 Cruiser

Throughout the film, Alex (Alex Frost) carries a Mossberg 500 Cruiser. He refers to it as "the shotty" and keeps it on his back, although he occasionally carries it instead of his rifle.

Eric plays a first person shooter video game where he shoots at people with a rocket-propelled grenade, which would be referenced later on in the film when we get a first person view of Alex's rifle firing at targets.
