Submachine Guns

FNP90 (Modified)

Modified FNP90s can be seen used in The Doctors Daughter by Human soldiers, including Cline (Joe Dempsie) and Jenny (Georgia Moffett) on Messaline. The props have long gas canisters attached to the bottom of the stock, and appear to use acetylene gas or similar to simulate gunfire for safety reasons.

Assault Rifles

M4A1 Carbine

M4A1 Carbines are used by the Ood Operations security forces during the episode Planet of the Ood. The M4A1s are being seen used with Beta C-Mags, ACOGs, tactical lights, Eotechs and front grips. In The Stolen Earth UNIT Soldiers stationed in New York City also carry the M4.

Heckler & Koch G36

UNIT soldiers, including Private Carl Harris (Clive Standen) and Private Steve Grey (Wesley Theobald) are seen carrying Heckler & Koch G36C's as their primary weapon in "The Sontaran Stratagem" and "The Poison Sky". They are rendered useless by the Sontaran's Cordolaine signal, which excites the copper atoms in bullets and causes them to expand in the gun barrel. Some human soldiers on Messaline are also seen using them in "The Doctors Daughter". Torchwood operatives Gwen Cooper (Eve Myles) and Ianto Jones Gareth David-Lloyd) arm themselves with G36's in "The Stolen Earth" and "Journeys End" to mount a last stand against the Daleks.

Olympic Arms K23B Tactical

UNIT soldiers use M4-type rifles similar to the Olympic Arms K23B Tactical in the episode "The Poison Sky", during the assault on the ATMOS factory. They are said to be firing steel-jacketed rounds, due to copper-jacketed rounds being rendered useless because of the Sontarans Cordolaine signal.

In "The Stolen Earth", Wilfred Mott (Bernard Cribbins) uses a paintball gun to attempt to blind invading Daleks so he and his daughter can escape. This proves useless however, as the Daleks are able to vaporise any paint that obstructs their vision.

Wilfred aims his paintball gun at an oncoming Dalek.
"Wanna swap?" A shocked Wilfred reacts to Rose destroying the Dalek with her energy gun.

Energy Blaster

In "The Stolen Earth", Rose Tyler (Billie Piper) is armed with a large energy blaster, similar to those used by The Preachers in Season 2.

Rose materialises in the non-parallel universe with the blaster in "The Stolen Earth".

Defabricator Gun

In "The Stolen Earth", Captain Jack Harkness (John Barrowman) arms himself with the Defabricator gun to face off against the Daleks. This weapon was last seen in the Season 1 episode "The Parting of the Ways".
