Diamonds for the Dictatorship of the Proletariat (original Russian title Brillianty dlya diktatury proletariata, Estonian title Briljandid proletariaadi diktatuurile) is a Soviet Estonian 1976 (filmed 1975) made for TV two-part adventure movie, adapted from same title novel by Yulian Semyonov and directed by Grigori Kromanov. In 1921 a number of valuable diamonds and gold jewelry is stolen from Soviet Russia State Fund (Gokhran) and smuggled to Estonia. In order to investigate the case a Cheka agent Vsevolod Vladimirov alias Maksim Isayev (Vladimir Ivashov) is sent to Tallinn.
