The Devil Came from Akasava (German title Der Teufel kam aus Akasava, Spanish title El diablo que vino de Akasawa) is a 1971 West German-Spanish adventure movie directed by Jesús Franco and very loosely adapted from the short story "Keepers of the Stone" by Edgar Wallace. British scientist Prof. Forrester discovers a mysterious stone in the jungles of Akasava in the South America. The stone emits strong radiation, capable of turning base metals into gold and deadly to humans. The stone is then stolen, and the professor himself disappears into the jungle. The British Secret Service is interested and sends an agent, the beautiful Jane Morgan (Soledad Miranda), acting under the guise of a striptease dancer. Jane teams with the professor's nephew Rex Forrester (Fred Williams), who is sure that his uncle is still alive.

Unidentified revolver

During the confrontation between Jane Morgan (Soledad Miranda) and Rex Forrester (Fred Williams), Jane aims a revolver but Rex manages to disarm her. The revolver has the vent rib with four slots over a relatively short barrel, the unshrouded ejector rod and the raised upper back of the frame. These features can be seen on some Arminius or Rohm revolvers but it's hard to tell the exact model.

Pistols

Walther P38

Lord Kingsley's valet Humphrey (Howard Vernon) is armed with a Walther P38 in several scenes. Due to continuity errors, his pistol several times switches between a P38 and a Luger P08. Rex Forrester (Fred Williams) carries a P38 in the climactic scene.

Unidentified pistol

Jane Morgan (Soledad Miranda) uses a subcompact pistol in several scenes. This gun is supposed to be some starter or gas-firing pistol, as a screw crosses the barrel that couldn't be on a live gun.

Jane fires point-blank at the bald assassin (Moisés Augusto Rocha) who tries to strangle Lambert.

Star compact pistol

British consul Irving Lambert (Alberto Dalbés) draws a compact pistol when he hears someone trying to sneak into his apartments. This is an M1911 style gun, and as the movie was mostly filmed in Spain, some compact Star model is a possible guess.

Star Model B (?)

Tino Celli (film director Jesús Franco) holds a pistol when he sneaks into Dr. Thorrsen's laboratory. This is an M1911 style pistol that lacks the grip safety and so may be identified as a full size Star model, most likely a Star Model B.

Unknown pistol

An unknown long barreled pistol is used for two assassination attempts on Lambert. The first time the weapon is visible in the dark, the second time - only the barrel sticking out from behind the door. Maybe this is some .22 caliber target pistol. A digitally lightened screenshot is presented on the talk page.

An unknown person fires at Lambert when he tries to sneak into Dr. Thorrsen's laboratory. The gun has a long barrel, protruding from the frame, and is possibly fitted with a sniper scope. The position of the shooter's hand indicates that the gun has a pistol grip.

Rifles

Unidentified rifle

An unknown shooter uses a rifle with a sniper scope for several assassination attempts in the first half of the film, set in the South America. The rifle is seen only partially and mostly through the dense foliage. It is even hard to tell the action of the gun.

The sniper aims at Prof. Forrester's assistant Joao who transports the protected case with the stone. A strange lever on the left side of the barrel is seen.
