Death to Smoochy (2002)

Death to Smoochy is a 2002 black comedy starring Robin Williams, Edward Norton, Danny DeVito, Catherine Keener and Jon Stewart, directed by Danny DeVito. The film tanked at the box office, making back less than twenty percent of its budget and earning Robin Williams a Razzie nomination for Worst Supporting Actor. The film was the second of three "dark" films released by Williams within a space of four months in 2002, between One Hour Photo and Insomnia, though this is easily the most light-hearted of the three.

The following weapons were seen in the film Death to Smoochy:

Ruger SP101

Burke Bennett (Danny DeVito) gives his client Sheldon Mopes/Smoochy (Edward Norton) a gift, which turns out to be a Ruger SP101. Nora Wells (Catherine Keener) takes it after it is knocked out of Sheldon's hand in the end.

Sheldon swings the cylinder closed on his SP101. Revolver fans, as always, are appalled.
Sheldon confronts Burke in his Smoochy costume.
The SP101 is knocked on the ground.
Nora holds the SP101 to Burke's head. She has taken his advice to cock the hammer.

Smith & Wesson Model 36

Rainbow Randolph (Robin Williams) confronts Sheldon and Nora in Sheldon's corporate penthouse with a Smith & Wesson Model 36. Sheldon later takes it away from him. Burke later confronts Sheldon with one, but Sheldon takes that one as well.

Sheldon threatens Burke with his own S&W 36.
Sheldon contemplates killing Burke. Notice that he has also taken Burke's advice to cock the hammer.

Don't complain about spoilers, the title IS Death to Smoochy.

Beretta 92FS Inox

The "parents" (Craig Eldridge and Judy White) at Rainbow Randolph's sting operation draw Beretta 92FS Inox pistols.

SIG-Sauer P230

Merv Green (Harvey Fierstein) shows Sheldon a SIG-Sauer P230 in his belt to intimidate him.
