Sharps Pepperbox

Jacqueline de Bellefort (Mia Farrow) carries a Sharps Pepperbox in her purse, which she uses to "shoot" Simon Doyle (Simon MacCorkindale) in the leg. Simon himself uses the Sharps to shoot his wife Linnet (Lois Chiles). Colonel Race (David Niven) tells Hercule Poirot (Peter Ustinov) it is a .22 caliber weapon.

Jackie shows Poirot her pistol, "small but lethal" as she tells him.

Simon aims at his wife.

Simon shoots Linnet.

Simon prepares to shoot himself in the leg by muffling the sound in a stolen scarf.

Simon ejects a spent cartridge so that if the gun is found, only two bullets will appear to have been fired.

Jackie shoots Simon in the head before turning the pistol on herself.

Colt New Service

Andrew Pennington (George Kennedy) keeps a Colt New Service in his cabin on the boat, which Jackie finds and uses to shoot Rosalie Otterbourne (Angela Lansbury).

Colt New Service Model 1917 - .45 ACP (moon-clipped).

Race tells Poirot that the New Service can be ruled out as the murder weapon due to the size of Linnet's wound.

Pennington's New Service lays on the deck after having been used to kill Mrs. Otterbourne.

Pennington reaches for his New Service.

Jackie aims the New Service.

Jackie shoots Mrs. Otterbourne in the head.
