The following guns were used in the fifth and final Dirty Harry film, The Dead Pool:

The Dead Pool (1988)

Smith & Wesson Model 29

Insp. "Dirty " Harry Callahan's (Clint Eastwood) sidearm is still the Smith & Wesson Model 29 in the final installment of the series.

Smith & Wesson Model 29 - .44 Magnum. This is Clint Eastwood's actual screen used Model 29 in the movie The Dead Pool. It has all the scuffs from the scene on the docks when it was dropped and kicked.
Insp. Callahan kills the last of mobster Lou Janero's thugs with his Smith & Wesson Model 29.
"You forgot your fortune cookie.... it says you're shit out of luck."
Callahan kills the last of the robbers in the Chinese restaurant.
Callahan holds his Model 29 on two fans requesting an autograph, mistaking them for more hitmen trying to kill him.
"Can I shake your hand?"
Harlan Rook (David Hunt) with Callahan's Model 29.
Callahan checks to make sure his Model 29 was indeed empty by pulling the trigger. This isn't a recommended method though, since if it isn't empty, a nasty surprise awaits.

IMI Uzi

When crime kingpin Lou Janero's (Anthony Charnota) henchmen open fire at Insp. Callahan (Clint Eastwood) during their attempts to kill him at a freeway exit, some of them are armed with IMI Uzi submachine guns. Later when Callahan is with Samantha Walker (Patricia Clarkson) in the elevator, two more henchmen open fire on them with Uzis.

IMI Uzi - 9mm.
One of Janero's thugs fires his IMI Uzi at Callahan's car.
Two thugs prepare to open fire on Callahan and Walker with IMI Uzis.
The thugs fire their Uzis at the elevator. For this scene, marbles were shot through the glass to shatter it, which scared Patricia Clarkson whose screams are genuine during this scene.

LaFrance Specialties M16K

Two of Lou Janero's (Anthony Charnota) henchman fire LaFrance Specialties M16Ks with an A1-style recievers at Insp. Callahan (Clint Eastwood) before running out of ammunition and being killed.

Browning Hi-Power

A Browning Hi-Power is used by the lead robber in the Chinese Restaurant. One is also seen in the shoulder holster of one of the bodyguards hired to protect Insp. Callahan (Clint Eastwood). The bodyguard is played by Clint Eastwood's stand-in.

Harpoon

One of the props on the set of Peter Swan's (Liam Neeson) new film is a high-powered Harpoon gun, which for unknown reasons actually fires harpoons. On real film sets, deadly weapons are typically avoided for obvious reasons. At the end of the film, Insp. Callahan (Clint Eastwood) uses the Harpoon gun to kill Harlan Rook (David Hunt), after he runs out of bullets. Members of the band Guns N' Roses make a cameo appearance as the crew firing the harpoon during the movie within a movie.

The "actors" (actually the members of the band Guns N' Roses) fire the Harpoon gun in Swan's film.
"You're out of bullets. And you know what that means? You're shit out of luck."
