Dead island (2011)

Dead Island is a survival horror first-person shooter, developed by Techland for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The main weapons in the game appear to be improvised melee weapons à la Condemned, but there are a few firearms scattered about.

Pistols

Beretta 92FS

The Beretta 92FS is an available semi-automatic handgun in the game and is simply called "Semi Pistol".

Beretta 92FS - 9x19mm.

Desert Eagle

The player can find several Mark I Desert Eagle pistols scattered across the island resort. It's called the "Heavy Pistol", It is chambered in .357 Magnum, based on the safety lever and it's capacity of nine rounds.

Astra 960

The Astra 960 is scattered across the island of Banoi and is most likely the first firearm most player will find. It is simply called the "Revolver" in-game. It is incorrectly chambered in 9x19mm and fires in Single-action only. The weapon has a fairly high level of detail, the cylinder will rotate when fired and the player will close it with a push instead of the usual flick of the wrist.

Taurus Raging Bull=

The Taurus Raging Bull is called the "Magnum" in-game. In-game it does not have the red safety grip and also fires in single-action only like the "Revolver".

The Benelli M3 Super 90 Comes with a reflex sight and is used in pump-action mode only.

Franchi SPAS-12

Like the assault rifle, the weapon labelled "shotgun" in-game has three different models it randomly uses: the SPAS-12, Benelli M3 and a so-far two unidentified models. Used in pump-action mode only.

Mossberg 590 Cruiser

A possible Mossberg 590 Cruiser is known as the "Short Shotgun" in-game.

The "Full-auto Rifles" in the game can be randomly one of three models: the AKS-74U, the AK-74 or the AK-107. The change is purely cosmetic.
