Dark Blue (2002)
Nice, but where's the trigger? This article or section is incomplete. You can help IMFDB by expanding it. |
Dark Blue is a 2002 cop thriller about a third generation LAPD detective who investigates a quadruple homicide during the time of the L.A. Riots in 1992. The screenplay was written by David Ayer (Training Day) from a story by James Ellroy (L.A. Confidential).
The following weapons were used in the film Dark Blue:
Handguns
Smith & Wesson Model 10
SIS Detective Eldon Perry III (Kurt Russell) carries his father's Smith & Wesson Model Military and Police .38 on the small of his back. He says that his father and his partner "built this city with bullets". He uses it to shoot through the roof at the two suspects.
Smith & Wesson 4506
Perry's chief sidearm is a Smith & Wesson 4506 which he keeps in a shoulder rig.
Smith & Wesson 4566
Perry's backup is the Smith & Wesson 4566 which he keeps on his right hip.
Beretta 92FS
Smith & Wesson 59
Bobby's sidearm is a 9mm S&W model 59 pistol.
Unknown pistol
Darryl Orchard (Kurupt) and Gary Sidwell (Dash Mihok) use two suppressed pistols while robbing a conveniet store (I think they're using either USP's or P7 pistols).
Shotguns
Mossberg Cruiser
When he goes after the killers, he uses a Mossberg Cruiser 12 gauge. It's shorter than the civilian version and is a police model.
Remington 870
Darryl Orchard uses a Remington 870 fitted with a ribbed barrel in an attempt to open the safe. Darryl also uses it when Van Meter comes to his house to collect the robbery money.
