DF 37/46 hand grenade with Mle 1935 fuse.

DF 37, known under nickname "Little Brown Jug", is a French fragmentation hand grenade. It was put into service in 1937 together with OF 37 hand grenade. In 1946 the grenade was modified by using new explosive. DF 37 was mostly used with Mle 1935 fuse while DF 37/46 used both Mle 1935 and new F3 and F5 fuses (that make the grenade look different).

Visually DF 37 differs from OF 37 in that the body of OF 37 consists of two parts, while DF 37 has a solid body.
