The following weapons can be seen in the upcoming sci-fi FPS Crysis 2:

WORK IN PROGRESS

Crysis 2 (2011)

Sidearms

M12 Nova

The M12 Nova is a handgun with a 20 round magazine. The pistol seems to be Crysis' SOCOM pistol, which was based on a mixture of the H&K UCP prototype, the Heckler & Koch Mark 23, the Heckler & Koch HK45, and the Walther P99.

Hammer

The Hammer pistol is seen being chambered by a C.E.L.L. soldier in beta footage. It appears to be based on the Desert Eagle but with the front half of the slide and the barrel based on the Beretta 92FS as indicated by the MyCrysis photos and features a compensator in front of the slide. The Hammer fires the (fictional) .50 Compact round and holds 9 in a magazine, similar to the .357 Magnum version of Desert Eagles.

Majestic

A six-shot heavy revolver called the "Majestic" is seen being used by Alcatraz in the "Be The Weapon" trailer. Unlike most revolvers, the weapon is reloaded swapping magazine cylinders. The Majestic also has an M16-style charging handle which cycles with each shot and is cocked by the player on an empty reload. As the weapon is a revolver its purpose has yet to be explained.

AY69

The AY69 is the last sidearm and is a machine pistol which is very similar to the Heckler & Koch MP7.

Submachine Guns

Feline

The Feline is a bullpup SMG with a 60 round magazine, firing (fictional) 4.7mm pistol rounds at 1200 rounds per minute. It looks very similar to the real life assault rifle FN F2000 Tactical.

K-Volt

The K-Volt is an Electrostatic Pellet Gun and has ballistics closer to a paintball gun than a true firearm. The electro-pellets that do minimal kinetic damage but fry the shields on stronger alien units, making it a situational weapon. The player Alcatraz is seen firing a K-Volt electric gun at an alien Ceph unit in "Be The Weapon" trailer. It is very similar to a TDI Vector, but with a different type of magazine and a bulkier, P90-like front.

Assault Rifles

Mk.20 Superior Combat Assault Rifle

The SCAR is the weapon used by the protagonist Alcatraz and much of your allies and heavily resembles a Heckler & Koch XM8. It utilizes advanced rifle cartridges that are smaller than 5.56mm rounds, but pack almost the same punch, allowing for 40 round magazines with virtually no loss in firepower. As in the Crysis world, it appears as if the weapon won the SOCOM SCAR competition.

Mk.21 Superior Combat Assault Carbine

A compact version of the SCAR, the SCARAB is seen several times being used by U.S. military soldiers and C.E.L.L. The most noticeable changes are the lack of a carrying handle and an MP5-style collapsable stock.

Mk.24 Grendel

The Grendel assault rifle uses new 6.5x39mm Grendel rounds that have more stopping power than 5.56 NATO. The GRENDEL has a 24 rounds magazine and fires on semi or in 3 rounds bursts. The assault rifle highly resembles the Bushmaster ACR, though the Crysis 2 version can fire in bursts.

SCARE

The SCARE is the sniper variant in the SCAR family, maybe similar to an SR-25 in use. So far it has only been mentioned in the MyCrisis SCAR Weapon Focus.

Sniper Rifles

DSG-1

The DSG-1 is a 10-round precision rifle that returns from the first Crysis. As the name implies, it is based on the DSR-1. Changes from the Crysis DSG-1 are a shorter stock, a slightly shorter hand-guard and top rail, semi-auto fire mode, and a longer barrel.

M2014

The M2014 is an electromagnetic, anti-material, gauss sniper rifle, firing .50 caliber gauss rounds. It's overall shape (indicated by the MyCrysis photos) is very similar to a Walther WA 2000.

Underbarrel Gauss Rifle

There is an underbarrel gauss rifle that can be attached to some weapons, similar to the underbarrel grenade launcher and shotgun. Its discription is: A miniaturised electromagnetic solid slug projector.

Shotguns

Jackal

The Jackal shotgun is a fully-automatic (semi-auto in multiplayer) shotgun with a 7 round box magazine. The shotgun resembles a Hawk Semi-Auto Tactical with an MP5/G3-like firing selector and trigger. It also has an M4-like stock.

Marshall

An 8-round pump-action shotgun based on Crysis' XM2014 shotgun, which in turn was based on the Benelli M4 Super 90 though only Crysis: Warhead's version was semi-automatic. Through the use of the latest (fictional) 12 gauge rounds it can even be suppressed for covert operations, despite 'home-brew' Shotgun silencers existing today with no need for subsonic loads.

Underbarrel Shotgun

There is a lightweight underbarrel shotgun that can be attached to some weapons. It resembles an M26 Modular Accessory Shotgun System, but is pump-action and holds the shells in a tube like the Masterkey.

Heavy Machine Gun

This weapon, simply called Heavy Machine Gun in game, can be ripped off its mount and used by the player. The heavy machine gun might be inspired by the M240 GPMG and the M85 heavy machine gun and its appearance resembles the Korean machine guns mounted on the train in the Crysis: Warhead level, "From Hell's Heart."

Launchers

Launcher - Tactical Airburst Grenades

The L-TAG is a lever-action grenade launcher that can hold up to five 60mm smart grenades of various types. The grenades can be bounced around corners or deployed like a minefield. However, the extra technology in each grenade makes them heavier and more complex, while also limiting the amount of propellant, giving them reduced range compared to other rounds. The grenades also feature an IFF proximity sensor that reduces the likelihood of friendly fire. It is similar in design and function to the M79 grenade launcher, and even has a similar distinctive noise when fired.

Joint Anti-Tank Weapon

The JAW is a single shot disposable rocket launcher that has the option to use limited SACLOS guidance to defeat moving targets and even helicopters at ranges exceeding 500m. Its appearance and function, plus that it can fire only one shot, along with being made by a Swedish company is similar to the M136 AT4.

Underbarrel Grenade Launcher

In the second part of the Multiplayer Progression clips, an under-barreled grenade launcher based on the M203 is seen being fired at a player during an air stomp. It fires 30mm advanced explosive anti-personnel percussion grenades.

The Swarmer

The Swarmer is a four-barreled rocket launcher system. Each shot sends out about eight mini-rockets what certainly do swarm the target[1]. The Swarmer holds 64 rockets with homing capabilities.

Miscellaneous

X-43 Microwave Incendiary Klystron Emitter

The X-43 MIKE is in the support weapon catagory. It fires concentrated microwaves which cook the target from the inside out, and can pass through most objects and set flammable ones alight, like plants. It is best described as a "Flamethrower 2.0".

Explosives

M112 C4

M112 C4s appear as demolition charges that can be remotely detonated. The C4 pack in-game is actually a bundle of M112 explosive packs taped together with duct tape.

Grenades

M17

The M17 fragmentation grenade, which is based on the Mk. 2 frag grenade(texture) and the M18 smoke grenade (model), are equipped to the player's inventory by default.
