The Company

The Company is a 2007 TNT miniseries that follows the activities of a CIA agent from the beginning of the Cold War to the collapse of the Soviet Union. The miniseries was executive produced by Ridley Scott and Tony Scott.

Note that this is quite wrong. At that time Cuban Armed Forces was armed with a mix of weapons, none from the AK family. AK47 and AKM came to the island a year after the Bay of Pigs Invasion, when URSS realized Castro was right about the intervention plots from the US government. By the way, The FAR (Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias) never has used the Norinco version or any other chinese copy of the AK47/AKM family.

The DShK heavy machine gun is mounted on Soviet tanks during the siege of Budapest. Since the series was shot in Prague, these could very well be actual DShk's.
