China O'Brien II

China O'Brien II is a 1990 direct to video action film that is a sequel to 1988's China O'Brien. The film was also directed by Robert Clouse and the same main trio returns two years after the events of the first film. The sequel follows China O'Brien, now the sheriff of Beaver Creek finds that recently escaped drug kingpin Charlie Baskin has arrived in the town in search of his ex-associate Frank Atkins who testified against Baskin and now is under witness protection.

Revolvers
Ruger Security Six
What appears to be a Ruger Security Six is used by Charlie Baskin (Harlow Marks) during his prison break in the opening scene.
Smith & Wesson Model 67
Charlie Baskin (Harlow Marks) and several of his men carry Smith & Wesson Model 67 (or possibly a nickel plated Smith & Wesson Model 15) revolvers.
Smith & Wesson Model 66
Smith & Wesson Model 66 revolvers are used by several of Baskin's henchmen.
Smith & Wesson Model 19
During China's confrontation with Frank Atkins, his Charter Arms Bulldog (see below) switches to a Smith & Wesson Model 19 due to a continuity error. S&W Model 19 revolvers are also seen in hands of gangsters.
Smith & Wesson Model 36
In the final scene Frank Atkins (Frank Magner) uses a Smith & Wesson Model 36.
Charter Arms Bulldog
A Charter Arms Bulldog is Frank Atkins' (Frank Magner) personal handgun.
Charter Arms Off Duty
A stainless Charter Arms Off Duty (or possibly Charter Arms Undercover) is seen in hands of a stage magician (Joyce Schuyler) during the performance. Later the same movie prop is reused in the scene when a female killer (Melanie Good), posing as a stripper, assassinates private investigator Issacs. What appears to be the same revolver is carries by Baskin's henchman during the ambush in Atkins' house.
Various revolvers
Some nondescript revolvers are seen in holsters of gangsters and other characters.
Pistols
Walther P38
A gangster uses a Walther P38 to assassinate a judge who passed sentence to Baskin.
M1911A1
In the night scene Baskin's henchman Kurt (Douglas Caputo) carries a pistol that appears to be an M1911A1.
Walther PP
During the final shootout Kurt (Douglas Caputo) carries an unidentified pistol. It bears some resemblance with Walther PP.
Shotguns
Mossberg 500
In the opening scene several law enforcement officers, pursuing Baskin, wield Mossberg 500 shotguns. Later Mossbergs are used by gangsters.
Ithaca 37
What appears to be an Ithaca 37 with extended magazine tube is also seen in the opening scene. An Ithaca 37 is also seen in Baskin's hideout.
Rifles and Assault Rifles
M16/SP1
M16/SP1 assault rifles are widely used by Baskin's henchmen.
Colt AR-15A2 Sporter II
Colt AR-15A2 Sporter II rifles, identified by combination of A1 upper receiver and slabside lower receiver, and heavier barrels, are also seen in hands of Baskin's henchmen. In the final scene Frank Atkins (Frank Magner) takes such rifle from a dead gangster.
Colt Carbine
Baskin's henchman Omar (Donré Sampson) is armed with a Colt Carbine. Later his gun is briefly carried by Dakota (Keith Cooke) though he doesn't use it in action. The rifle isn't seen close enough for identification of the exact model but Colt Model 653 is a reasonable guess.
M1 Carbine
One of Baskin's henchmen carries an M1 Carbine.
Other Weapons
M72 LAW
During the releasing of Frank Atkins' family a pair of Baskin's henchmen use M72 LAW rocket launchers. The movie props appear to be spent LAW with a thick tube inside that contains a pyrotechnic charge.
M8 Flare Pistol
During the climactic battle Baskin's henchman Omar (Donré Sampson) uses an M8 flare pistol to fire an irritant gas grenade into the sheriff's office.
Trivia
During the climactic battle China O'Brien, faithful to her oath never again take up a gun, uses a compound bow. This weapon was seen on China photo in the first film.
