The Storm PSR is a fictional anti-material rifle fitted with an x-ray scope to view targets through solid barriers. As seen on the E3 demo, it features a unique ability as it is charged by holding down the trigger for a maximum of 5 bullets; this costs more ammunition to use. On the side of the weapon, it indicates that this uses Metal Storm technology; this is confirmed by the fact that the reloading animation has the player insert a single stack of bullets into the rear of the weapon (as Metal Storm technology uses superposed ammunition).

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 (2012)

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 is the latest installment in the Call of Duty franchise that is currently in development by Treyarch and set for release on November 13, 2012. Despite what the name suggest this new title appears to not be a direct sequel to the first Black Ops as it takes place in the future in the year 2025, although some parts will take place in the Proxy Wars of the 1980s.

The game was officially revealed through a reveal trailer that debuted on May 1, 2012.

The following guns and pictures are taken from the official reveal trailer.

The following weapons are seen in the video game Call of Duty: Black Ops 2:

Pistols

TDI Kard

David Mason is seen loading a handgun that appears to be based off the TDI Kard pistol while inside a vehicle. Another soldier is seen firing a similar pistol. It is called the KAP-40 in the E3 demo.

Unknown Pistol

An unknown pistol was seen in the reveal trailer that is said to be a FN Five-seveN.

Submachine guns

QCW-05

The QCW-05 appearing as the Chicom QCB was first seen in the Los Angeles Gameplay Trailer.

TDI Vector

The TDI Vector is expected to return from Modern Warfare 2, now called the Vector K10. It also has a black finish as opposed to the tan finish from MW2.

Uzi

The Uzi can be seen during the Behind the Scenes video.

"PDW-57"

This fictional submachine gun bears a strong resemblance to the P90, possibly even a future variant of the weapon. It even features a similar magazine and reload to the P90, and the name infers it uses the same caliber.

Assault Rifles

AK Variant

During the horse riding (Yes, horse riding) sequence of the first trailer, a rider can be seen gripping an unknown AK variant. On a closer examination of the screenshot, the proportions of the AK's magazine and lack of flash hider seem to imply it's a same WASR-2 inspired conglomerate as is the one in the first game

AN-94

Two generic Middle Eastern terrorists are seen being blown away by an explosion while still holding on to their AN-94 assault rifles in the premiere trailer. Seems that in Black Ops universe Russia has decided to start exporting the assault rifle by 2025.

Heckler & Koch XM8

Multiple soldiers in the reveal are seen wielding weapons which appear to be Heckler & Koch XM8s with short handguards and thick carrying handles seemingly based on one used by the M41A Pulse Rifle in Aliens. They use a railed carrying handle and have a railed handguard with rail covers rather than the PCAP accessory system used by the US version. In real life this configuration is used on Malaysian XM8s, though given the series' common use of Airsoft weapons as references it is far more likely this was based on a rail-equipped Airsoft gun. It is said to have an incorrect 32 round capacity, it has been confirmed that this is the M8A1 Assault rifle.

QBZ-97

The "Type 95" has been confirmed to appear, its pickup symbol appearing in the E3 demo. Most likely this will be the same QBZ-97 with 95-style trigger guard seen in "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3".

Type 25

A fictional rifle based on the QB series called the Type 25 was used by David Mason in the E3 Demo. It is similar to the Type 95, but with a slightly modified exterior.

M16A1

An M16A1 can be seen in the hands of a soldier possibly during one of the "flashback eras" of the game. Judging by the 20-round magazine and the handguard it is an A1 model.

The Storm PSR is a fictional anti-material rifle fitted with an x-ray scope to view targets through solid barriers. M1216

A modified 1200 Series Shotgun is seen in the multiplayer trailer. The weapon is unique in that the magazine is a tube containing four stacks of shotgun shells, and the tube must be manually rotated after one stack is emptied. The M1216 appears to shoot four shells at a time, indicating the 16 shell variant (4 tubes of 4).

Mounted Weapons
